Fire-proof door drives for roller shutters and sectional doors.
The roller shutter drives in the FT range are specially designed for use with fire doors. In the event of fire, they close the door autonomously and automatically, without an external power source: the door load is supported by a magnetic brake, which is immediately released in the case of fire. In normal operation, the door is power driven by a motor which opens and closes the door.
The FDF series of fire-proof roller shutter drives and the FTA series of fire-proof sectional door drives not only have integrated limit switches but also an electric motor for normal operation and a 24V emergency motor linked to a backup battery for use in the event of a fire or a power cut. FDF, FTA and FDS drives consist of a self-locking worm gear, while FDF has an integrated safety catch device in addition.FT Fire-proof door drives
